Community Partner Spotlight:
Horizon Cross Cultural Center
In an effort to expand financial literacy education to consumers who are non-English speakers, CCCS-OC has developed a strategic plan to provide financial literacy workshops in Spanish and Vietnamese.
The Vietnamese community is Orange County's third largest population with concentrations in Garden Grove, Westminster and Santa Ana. CCCS-OC has established a partnership with Horizon Cross Cultural Center (formerly St. Anselm's Cross Cultural Center) to teach financial literacy workshops in Vietnamese.
Horizon Cross Cultural Center's goal is to empower immigrant and under-served communities to lead healthy and self-sufficient lives in American society. In support of that mission, CCCS-OC has been instrumental in providing financial literacy education in Vietnamese with a focus on credit and personal finances. We applaud the Horizon Cross Cultural Center for integrating financial literacy into their direct services.
