New T3 Series Thumb Switch Enhances Intuitive Operation
The T3 Series ESV is an ever-evolving vehicle. Its design and functionality are the reflection of asking our customers, "What do you need the T3 to do for you each day?" The results of these ongoing communications with our T3 Series customers lead to new product innovations. The latest feature to be integrated into the T3 Series ESV is a new multi-function thumb switch.
Rugged and weatherized like a police motorcycle thumb switch, the T3 Series switch is built to withstand elements like rain, snow and sun shift after shift. The new thumb switch increases the intuitive operation of key T3 Series features and enables operators to focus on the task at hand. The new thumb switch includes integrated functions like: Yelp Horn: By pressing the horn switch (gray), an audible yelp horn produces a siren blast to alert pedestrians and vehicles as the vehicle approaches, especially from behind. Headlight: By sliding the headlight switch (yellow) to the right, the vertically-adjustable LED headlight is turned on, illuminating the headlight, tail lights and display screen. The T3 Series headlight has the equivalent of three SL-20 stream lights, which is especially valuable in nighttime patrols. Emergency Lighting: When the second gray vertical switch is slid to position 1, the front emergency lights are activated. T3 Series emergency lights are law enforcement-compliant with 1,000-foot visibility. Siren: When switched to position 2, the front emergency lights and audible siren are engaged. To turn off either function, simply return the switch to position 0. The T3 Series ESV is the result of an active dialogue with the industries we serve - law enforcement, security and government.
