With a New Year comes new goals, new affirmations, different perspectives and an optimistic look into 2022.

I reflect on this year and think about the importance of relationships and how relationships have been the binding strength throughout these wildly changing times. I have a new appreciation and gratitude for the relationships I have developed and maintained.
I look to 2022 to bring deeper relationships, unity and collective growth.

Santa Ana College kickstarts the "Kanatsiz Scholars" Program Fund, "Kicking into College" for unprivileged students throughout Orange County
I recently partnered with Santa Ana College (SAC) to kickstart a new program, called "Kicking into College", where we will work to identify some of the most underprivileged students in all of Orange County, and provide them with a full–ride scholarship at SAC. This scholarship will focus on supporting high–achieving, at–risk students in creating an on–going pathway to continue their educational journey at SAC and beyond.

I presented to over 500 Pedego Electric Bike dealers at Pedego's annual conference, sharing my topic on "The Power of Public Relations". The principals of PR are timeless, especially when it comes to journalistic integrity and reporting news for its "news value" and not its hype.
To further expand Pedego's efforts, KCOMM introduced an opportunity and avenue with which to amplify each store's marketing approach by creating news articles and press releases specifically catered to each store's local community.

Orange County United Way (OCUW)'s "Taking Flight" fall fundraiser celebrates community & philanthropic efforts
Orange County United Way (OCUW), a local non–profit organization serving at the forefront of health and human care services in Orange County, hosted "Taking Flight" at the Lyon Air Museum in November.
The inaugural fall fundraising event honored donors from the past and the present to establish a tradition of celebrating the community–minded individuals and business leaders who make Orange County United Way's philanthropic work possible. Event Honorees included — Lawrence R. and Sandra C. Armstrong, Nancy and Mike Meyer, and Win Rhodes.

Pacific Rheumatology Medical Center Celebrates Grand Opening in Tustin and 10 Years in Business
On November 20, KCOMM helped Dr. Behnam Khaleghi and his team at Pacific Rheumatology Medical Center cut the ribbon to celebrate their new office at 1422 Edinger Avenue #130 in Tustin. In attendance and speaking at the event were Fred Minager, Mayor of Laguna Niguel; Christian Ortiz, NRC Research Institute; Dr. Alex Zand, St. Joseph Hospital; and Dr. Nathan Yeargin, Chairman of the Tustin Chamber of Commerce. KCOMM was proud to take the lead with event coordination, rentals & decor, and invitations to local chamber and civic leaders to make this a seamless and exciting experience for all in attendance.

IEC Holiday Bash 2021
Earlier this month, the International Executive Council (IEC) hosted a holiday bash, with over a hundred IEC members and their guests gathering together to celebrate the end of the year along with colleagues, business professionals and new connections over an excellent barbeque dinner and hand–crafted drinks from Hook Hand Rum.
Throughout the night, the group also enjoyed a live band, Christmas carollers, performances from a magician, and a special guest appearance from Santa. Attendees were encouraged to participate in a Christmas toy drive by donating an unwrapped children's toy for Seneca Family of Agencies. Check out the full recap video below.
