Organizations worldwide are focusing more and more on wellness for enhancing both our personal and professional lives. Our client First Step Fitness created and hosted a special "Fitness Fun" event this month at Pretend City Children's Museum in Irvine to teach kids and families about "active learning." We also worked with the Internet Marketing Association (IMA) on a survey of its membership regarding the role of wellness programs in attracting and retaining employees.
Sometimes this business brings some unexpected and fun opportunities. That was the case when we were engaged to handle public relations for the auction of the iconic 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am used in promoting the movie "Smokey and the Bandit." The car, fully restored, will be up for bid at the Barrett Jackson auction house in Scottsdale this weekend.
On the international front, the IMA has announced a very special event in conjunction with Cayman Enterprise City planned for Apr. 6-7 on Grand Cayman. Global leaders in digital marketing from Curalate, Microsoft and Google will provide their unique perspectives and insights in this one-of-a-kind gathering following memorable past events in Dublin and Singapore.
