KCOMM | Unifying Markets and Mediums with your Message
Welcome to our March newsletter
Welcome,

This month, we're highlighting three important initiatives by the Internet Marketing Association. These activities are open to non-members of IMA and offer important opportunities for professionals in virtually any business or organization to learn and have an impact. One is the IMA Impact 2013 conference and awards event set for late September in Las Vegas featuring expert keynote speakers, topical breakout sessions and more. The second is an advocacy trip to Washington, D.C., in April to meet with policymakers on technology issues that affect us all. And the third is a recent event sponsored jointly by IMA and Chapman University's newly created Chapman50 group with special guest of honor Chapman alumna and U.S. Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez. We encourage you to watch out for and participate in these kinds of events that offer personal and professional growth as well as a chance to make your voice heard.

Sincerely,

Sinan Kanatsiz

Save the Date!

IMA Impact13
September 25-27, 2013
Aria Resort & Casino
CityCenter, Las Vegas

The 2012 IMA Conference and Awards held this past September at CityCenter in Las Vegas was a landmark for the Internet marketing industry. This year, we're raising the bar to make the event even more memorable and valuable. One of our very special keynote speakers will be Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval who will share his perspective on "How Nevada Uses Internet Marketing to Stimulate Economic Growth."

Impact13 will again be a three-day event in the breathtaking environment of CityCenter, featuring distinguished keynote speakers on vital Internet marketing topics, a series of breakout sessions presented by the industry's leading experts, and the 2013 Impact Awards dinner.

The Internet Marketing Association is one of the fastest growing professional organizations in the world. Its mission is to provide a unique knowledge-sharing platform where proven Internet marketing strategies are demonstrated and shared to increase each member's value to their industry and their organization.

Chapman50 and IMA Host Event Featuring U.S. Congresswoman
Area Leaders Convene to Address Issues

The new Chapman50 organization and the Internet Marketing Association recently hosted an intimate gathering of Southern California business, education and non-profit leaders to address current issues that affect their organizations both individually and collectively. Chapman50 is a group of area leaders who have been assembled by Chapman University to provide long-term input and guidance.

Special honored guest at the event, held at the Resort at Pelican Hill, was U.S. Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez who presented certificates of special Congressional recognition to representatives of several organizations making an exemplary impact in their fields. The Internet Marketing Association (IMA) will host its inaugural advocacy visit to Washington, DC, April 23-25, 2013. A delegation of CEOs, CMOs and other top executives will participate in seminars and meetings with key decision makers, focusing on matters of critical importance to IMA members.

Seminars and other events will be held at the historic Hay Adams hotel. The group will move to Capitol Hill for a series of visits with policy makers to discuss ways that IMA can help drive forward policies in key areas such as technology and cyber security. Meetings will include the Pentagon, Department of Justice, White House officials, members of Congress and others.
