KCOMM | Unifying Markets and Mediums with your Message
Welcome to our January newsletter
Welcome,

As we look ahead to the first half of 2013, several important announcements and programs are newsworthy. One involves an engagement, of which we are very proud, to support Adobe with a series of high-level executive roundtables with events in New York and Los Angeles leading the schedule.

Two other events of special note involve the Internet Marketing Association. The first, set for April, will be the organization's inaugural advocacy visit to Washington, DC. The other will be a trip to Ireland in June to learn about enhanced opportunities for the association and its members in Europe.

Lastly, we have made two very exciting additions to our Internet marketing expertise. We are very pleased to welcome Frederick Vallaeys, former Google Adwords Evangelist, to KCOMM.

Sincerely,

Sinan Kanatsiz
Chief Executive Officer

Frederick Vallaeys, Former Google AdWords Evangelist, Joins KCOMM
Expertise Will Help Strengthen Program ROI

Frederick Vallaeys has joined KCOMM as a senior technology expert. His primary focus will be providing the agency's larger clients with world-class strategies for search engine optimization (SEO) and Google AdWords campaigns.

Frederick has led a distinguished career in online marketing and was an early employee at Google, where he was instrumental in growing the AdWords search marketing system. Most recently, he served as Google's AdWords Evangelist, helping advertisers determine which Google products are best suited to support their marketing goals. He was also one of the few Google executives to cover the entire spectrum of online marketing solutions, including search, social, mobile, organic and display for clients ranging from large Fortune 500 companies to small SMBs.

He was also involved in Google's acquisition of Urchin (now Google Analytics) and has received the top awards at Google for his key role in creating the first version of the AdWords Editor and growing the AdWords API into one of the most robust tools for large advertisers. Until 2012, Frederick was one of the longest-standing members of the core team that developed the Quality Score mechanism, and his insights into ad quality have been shared at industry events and in the number-one book on Quality Score.

Frederick has spoken at numerous search marketing conferences in the United States and abroad, contributed to several trade books, appeared on national television and radio, and presented on online advertising to MBA programs worldwide.
