Welcome,

You may think that the IMA would take some to relax after the amazing September IMPACT16 conference in Las Vegas. But, as usual, the IMA team is already hard at work building on that success!

We are expanding programs, building new networks of partners and members, creating new programs, and looking to truly "fast forward" 2017.

As part of that effort, the IMA's Women's Leadership Group is expanding not only its membership but its purpose. Women in the tech industry face a specifically different series of challenges and the WLG has been created to bring those industry leaders together to discuss various issues, how best to succeed in that environment, and to share stories and tips (including some fascinating life hacks) based on real world experiences to help pave the way for the future.

The IMA is also expanding its global reach by creating new local networking and educational groups (as the saying goes, 'Think globally, Act locally') and we are proud to announce the launch of a new group based in Austin, Texas.

And, of course, we are already looking forward to the IMPACT17 Spring conference in the Cayman Islands in late April. The IMA has signed a five-year agreement with Cayman Enterprise City, the Caribbean's premier special economic development zone, to co-host the annual event and we are committed to making this event as exciting and informative as our Vegas events.

Thank you for your continued support and get ready for amazing new opportunities, projects, and programs from the IMA.

Sincerely,

Sinan Kanatsiz
Chairman, IMA

15,000-Year-Old Marketing Strategy: Why it Works

The advent of mass media silenced a 15,000-year-old marketing strategy when technology became the driving factor of marketing.
