IMA Hosts Thought Leadership Event

IMA recently held a special thought leadership event on the Veer East Rooftop at CityCenter in Las Vegas, with a spectacular view of the Strip. The theme of the gathering was the impact Internet marketing is having on businesses in the state of Nevada. Presentations and discussion focused on the transformation of marketing by leveraging rich analytics and customer profile data to drive higher revenue through targeted digital marketing strategies and best practices. An expert panel included Chris Kahle of Caesars Entertainment, Jordan Fiksenbaum of Cirque du Soleil and Justin Ramers of Active Network with moderator Matt Langie of Adobe.

IMA Chairman Featured in WSJ

California has taken a shine to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, with West Coast technology entrepreneurs and entertainment moguls donating tens of thousands of dollars to the re-election campaign of a New Jersey Republican leading in the polls by a wide margin.

Residents of the Golden State gave more than $590,000 in reportable contributions to Christie's campaign, second only to New Jersey gifts, an analysis of campaign documents released Monday showed. New York came in third with $372,000 in contributions of greater than $300, the threshold marking when campaigns must identify their donors in New Jersey.

IndieFlix Launches Anti-Bullying Film

IndieFlix has announced the debut of the award-winning, anti-bullying documentary, "Finding Kind," running through May 24 on the IndieFlix.com website and on the IndieFlix apps for Xbox and Roku.

The 77-minute documentary, written and directed by filmmakers Lauren Parsekian and Molly Thompson, addresses female bullying straight on. The film features powerful stories of real girls filmed in the Truth Booth and provides strategies for how to survive being bullied as well as compelling reasons to help stop the bullying epidemic.
