Welcome,

The new year is is starting off with some exciting offerings by the Internet Marketing Association (IMA). Together with leaders in Washington D.C., we are putting together an unprecedented leadership delegation of technology, marketing and business leaders to meet with lawmakers to discuss, define and create standards for best practices in Internet marketing. Topics will include social media, search engine optimization, email marketing, analytics, web development and how policies in Washington can streamline and create opportunities for IMA members. If you or your organization is interested in being part of this historic trip, please contact me directly.

This has been a very active month for our partnership with Oracle, Adobe, Microsoft, Ernst & Young and the University of California, Irvine Extension program. We are also elated to see the first group of graduates from our Certified Internet Marketer (CIM) professional certification program. IMA has created the most robust education in Internet marketing, and we are humbled to recognize professionals around the world who have completed the program.

Continued success and here's to a great year ahead!

Sincerely,

Sinan Kanatsiz
