Vincent Walden of Ernst & Young specializes in forensic technology and fraud detection analytics with a focus on text analytics, forensic data mining and electronic discovery services, with more than 14 years of experience handling the information management, forensic analysis and electronic discovery requirements for large-scale, complex litigations and investigations as well as for proactive anti-fraud programs. Frederick Vallaeys is a Product Evangelist for Google AdWords where he helps advertisers learn which Google products can best address their marketing needs. He also represents the needs of advertisers with the Google engineering and product management teams.

Internet Marketing Association Receives Congressional Certificate
Recognition Acknowledges IMA Leadership Role


The Internet Marketing Association recently received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition from the office of U.S. Congressman John Campbell as the leading professional organization for internet marketing professionals worldwide, with a focus on professional development, industry best practices and issues advocacy.

District Director Chris Palmer presented the certificate on behalf of the congressman during a visit to IMA headquarters in San Clemente, Calif. The congressman is scheduled to meet with the association on his next trip back from Washington where he is deeply involved in major legislative issues facing the country.

"We are proud to have this recognition from the U.S. House of Representatives," said IMA Chairman Sinan Kanatsiz. "IMA is growing rapidly, and this acknowledgement reinforces what we can do for our members and the Internet marketing community."
The Digital World of Millennials
New Data on Key Demographic


Young adults are the most connected consumers.

Millennials, also commonly referred to as Generation Y and echo boomers, are the first generation to come of age in the new millennium. Unsurprisingly, the Internet's role is paramount among the age group's media habits and usage. From shopping to socializing to watching TV, they do it all online.

"Millennials represent a critical target for marketers, and the best place to reach them is where they are-online," said Jared Jenks, eMarketer analyst and author of the new report, "Demographic Profile-Millennials."

Millennials comprise nearly a quarter of the total U.S. population and are evenly split between males and females. Less than six in 10 are white, and aside from children under 18, millennials are the most ethnically and racially diverse generation in the country's history.
