CDS Receives Brocade Partner Summit Award CDS is proud to be named one of Brocade's 2010 Partner Summit Award Winners in the category of Extraordinary Federal Partnership. The award recipients were recognized for their extraordinary performance in delivering Brocade networking solutions and services in 2009. The winners were honored at an awards gala at the annual Brocade Partner Summit April 11 to 14 in Las Vegas. Winners were selected based on a broad set of criteria, including: partner engagement, consistently meeting program requirements, technical certification and expertise, creating or offering unique programs, and overall business performance. All winners are part of the Brocade Alliance Partner Network (APN), a program that provides partners with a wide range of offerings - including a comprehensive set of marketing tools and innovative sales programs - to help them sell Brocade products, solutions, and services. "The channel plays a strategic role in the continuous growth of the Brocade business and this year's award winners truly exemplify the qualities required to drive success - business acumen, ingenuity, and a commitment to excellence," said Barbara Spicek, vice president of Worldwide Channel Sales at Brocade. "2009 proved to be a highly successful year for our partners, and we are excited to be recognizing and celebrating their achievements this year." The fourth annual Brocade Partner Summit brought together nearly 100 distributors and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to discuss best practices, share selling strategies, participate in one-on-one meetings with Brocade executives, and network with peers. This year's Summit agenda also featured keynote speakers from Forrester research, strategic alliance partners, and customers.
