2013 Community Hero of the Year Honored

We are very pleased to announce that Victor Nichols, CEO of Experian North America, has been honored as our second Community Hero of the Year. The inaugural award was presented recently at the company's North American operational headquarters in Costa Mesa, California.

This year's honor recognizes a generous commitment Experian has made to supporting the work of CCCS by providing credit reports and credit monitoring services for CCCS clients at no charge. Those resources have provided our clients with valuable tools in maintaining and improving their personal financial situation. The support for CCCS-OC is part of the firm's "Heart of Experian: Connect. Protect. Create" program that articulates what Experian stands for in the eyes of its employees, clients, investors, and communities it serves.

A 30-year veteran in the fields of finance and technology, Nichols joined Experian in 2007 and became CEO of Experian North America in January of 2010. He is also responsible for Experian's Consumer Services global business line. Prior to that appointment, he was Chief Executive Officer, UK and EMEA, and leader of Experian's global Marketing Services business.
