A recent National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) online poll revealed that close to one in five consumers, 18 percent, believe that carrying credit card debt over from month-to-month is a responsible way to manage his or her finances.

CCCS Receives Bank of America Grant

We are very pleased to report that CCCS-OC has received a $30,000 grant to support our Housing & Financial Stability financial literacy programs for the Orange County community. The grant will fund our programs to both preserve homeownership for struggling homeowners as well as prepare future homeowners by enhancing their overall financial stability.

Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Orange County (CCCS-OC) has been included in a new round of funding from NeighborWorks America under the Making Home Affordable (MHA) program. Headquartered in Washington, DC, NeighborWorks America is focused on creating opportunities for lower-income people to live in affordable homes in safe, sustainable neighborhoods that are healthy places for families to grow.
