Community Partner Spotlight
Pacific Mercantile Bank established a partnership with CCCS-OC in 2011 to provide the lender portion and WISH program information for our free 8-Hour Homebuyers Education seminar. The WISH program provides a 3:1 match to qualifying families who intend to purchase a home. Through the resource offered on behalf of Pacific Mercantile Bank, a total of 53 prospective homebuyers have been approved for a home loan with 28 families funded through the WISH program that have purchased and closed escrow. This has been a valuable resource to families that may never have imagined attaining the American Dream.
Pacific Mercantile Bank's Loan Mortgage Officer, Tim Hurlbut, is also lending his expertise to the Homebuyers Orientation 101 seminar in addition to the 8-Hour Homebuyers Education seminar. An estimated 40 hours have been volunteered on behalf of Mr. Hurlbut. Attendees of the two seminars have extended their gratitude for these resources.
It is important to rely on volunteers with a vested interest in assisting consumers attain the American Dream, and Pacific Mercantile Bank has been instrumental in making this dream come true for families. We value this partnership and its positive impact on families.
