We recently had an excellent opportunity to learn more about the world of technology and marketing by attending a special event hosted by the University of California, Irvine Extension and their Internet marketing program. Guest speaker was Matt Langie, Director of Product Marketing at Adobe Systems. The title of his presentation was "Digital Marketing to the Digital Self."

This digital self, which individuals are expressing with family, friends and businesses, helps organizations better understand consumer wants, needs and desires like never before. The result of the ability to create highly personalized experiences, deliver uniquely targeted advertising, and gain a deeper understanding through analytics and data.

There is indeed a new world of social interaction, and we are staying on top of the many ways to communicate with our constituencies.
