Spreading the Word to U.S. Legislators
We recently had a wonderful opportunity to make a connection with two leading U.S. legislators at an intimate gathering held at Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach. U.S. Congressman Ed Royce and Senator Dean Heller of Nevada met with a select group of Southern California CEOs, Chapman University business students, and area non-profit leaders.  The discussion ranged from the overall economic landscape and what's going on in Washington, D.C., to the positive outlook for businesses in Southern California's highly entrepreneurial environment. CCCS President Cheryl Spencer-Borden was able to present the CCCS story to both influential legislators and raise the profile of the organization on the national level. |
