We are very pleased and excited to report that Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Orange County has been awarded a $50,000 "Welcome Home" grant from Wells Fargo. The grant is designed to support programs that promote affordable housing opportunities, provide home preservation and ownership counseling, and help individuals affected by foreclosure transition to stable housing.

Specifically, the Wells Fargo grant will help fund the following vital programs:

Free, comprehensive, confidential, one-on-one, foreclosure-prevention counseling
Free group education for homeowners in distress wishing to preserve homeownership
Relationships with over 300 non-profit partners to help homeowners avoid foreclosure

What truly sets CCCS-OC apart is the holistic nature of the in-depth financial counseling services we provide. While the Welcome Home funding will be applied to housing-related services, the families we serve will also receive a full spectrum of support.

Providing these coordinated services means a real cure and return to financial well-being, resulting in long-term fiscal health and vastly lowered risk of redefault on the mortgage.
