CCCS-OC President Meets with U.S. Congressman
CCCS-OC President Cheryl Borden recently attended an intimate luncheon with U.S. Congressman Ed Royce. In a small group setting, Cheryl had a unique opportunity to hear an inside perspective on developments in Washington, D.C., the Presidential primary and the current economic situation. Simon Reeves, CEO of TideRock Financial, also gave a presentation on how central bank policy and changes in bank lending, taxes and regulation have correlated to stock market performance over the past 90+ years. The event offered a rare opportunity to gain additional insight into the dynamics affecting business and investing as recent political turmoil in Washington has had an increasingly direct impact on the markets.
